Subject: About the Restaurant We Tried
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for recommending the new restaurant for our team lunch. Unfortunately, the visit did not go as well as we expected. Several meals arrived cold, two orders were incorrect, and the service was very slow even though the restaurant was not crowded.
The team members were disappointed because we had only a limited lunch break. Some people had to return to work before finishing their meals, and others said they would not like to visit again. I know that your earlier experience may have been much better, so this was probably difficult to predict.
For future lunches, we could return to the café near the office or order food for the meeting room. We might also ask the team to vote on two or three options.
