Some experts argue that attaining a higher education is the key to improving social mobility, while others believe that universal access to quality healthcare and social services plays a more crucial role. Which factor do you think is more important for enhancing social mobility? Why?
Paul:
I think higher education is more important for enhancing social mobility. A college degree can open doors to better job opportunities and higher earnings, which can significantly improve one’s social and economic status over time.
Kelly:
In my opinion, access to quality healthcare and social services is more crucial. Without good health and basic support, individuals may struggle to pursue education and career opportunities. Ensuring that everyone has access to these services can create a more level playing field.
